(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
The collision which involved four vehicles occurred on October 25th (2018) at approximately 8:14 pm at SH33 and Redlands, approximately 8 miles west of Perkins in Payne County.
All of the vehicles involved in the collision were eastbound on SH33, when two of the vehicles stopped for a third vehicle that was turning left. That vehicle struck one of the vehicles, which then struck a second vehicle, which caused a fourth vehicle to take evasive action to the right. That vehicle then departed the roadway, and struck a pole.
Jonathan Jay Eason (35), of Stillwater was injured.
Rolla Mostafa Abdeljawad (37) of Stillwater was transported by ambulance to OU Medical Center (OKC) where she received treatment and was released. Her passenger Hoda I. Abdeljawad (69) of Stillwater was also transported by ambulance to OU Medical Center (OKC) with her injuries.
Kathryn Lucille Galier (22) of Oklahoma City was not injured.
James Keith Isaacs (42) of Stillwater was not injured.
According to the DPS report seat-belts were in use by all and the collision was apparently caused by following too closely.
