(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A personal injury collision occurred on July 29th (2018) at approximately 5:52 pm on State Highway 33, approximately 9 miles west of Perkins, in Payne County.
John H Pace (III), age 26, of Guthrie, was driving a 2015 GMC Sierra and Georges Backoulou, age 60 of Stillwater, was driving a 2001 Buick. Both of the vehicles were eastbound on State Highway 33 when the collision occurred.
Pace was not injured, and one of his passengers Guaristo Hernandez (33) of Cushing was transported by Eagle Med to OU Medical (Oklahoma City) where he was admitted. A second passenger in the vehicle, William E Towry (42) of Cushing, was reported not injured.
Backoulou was transported by LifeNet to OU Medical (Oklahoma City) where he was admitted.
According to the DPS report seat-belts were in use.
