(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A personal injury collision occurred on December 19th (2018) at approximately 5:59 pm on State Highway 99 at the intersection of 9th street, approximately 5 miles east and 1 mile south of Cushing, OK in Payne County.
A juvenile, (17) of Cushing, was the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox that failed to yield to a 1997 Ford F350 pickup driven by Sheri L Claytor (58) of Cushing
The juvenile driver was transported by Cushing Ambulance to Saint Francis Hospital (Tulsa). A juvenile passenger (17) of Cushing was also transported by Samaritan EMS to Saint Francis Hospital (Tulsa).
Claytor was transported by Cushing EMS to Cushing Regional Hospital, where she was later transferred on to Saint Francis Hospital (Tulsa) and admitted.
According to the DPS report both vehicles had seat-belts in use.
