(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.


An injury collision occurred November 6th (2018) at approximately 08:30 am on W. 181st Street South approximately 2/10 of a mile east of S. 49th W. Avenue (2 miles northeast of Mounds, in Creek County).


A 2016 Chevy Colorado, which was improperly parked and partially in the roadway, had a pedestrian Jaime Rojas (32) of Cicero standing beside it when the vehicle was struck by a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. The Chevy Colorado then struck Rojas throwing him about 30 feet. The 2000 Oldsmobile was being driven by Timothy Reed (47) of Mounds, Oklahoma.


According to the DPS report Reed was not injured and Rojas was transported by Creek County EMS to St John Hospital (Tulsa) where he was admitted.


The DPS report shows that the collision is still under investigation.
