(Pawnee, Okla) According to OHP reports – Friday evening about 7:31 (p.m.) an injury accident occurred on State Highway 99, 4/10 of a mile south of County Road 5600 and 3/10 of a mile north of the town of Jennings with the city limits in Pawnee County.
A 2010 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Jena Green (30), of Pawnee, Oklahoma was north bound on State Highway 99 while the 2010 Toyota Tundra driven by Patricia Ford (46) of Hallet, Oklahoma was south bound on State Highway 99. The 2010 Dodge Ram pickup went left of center and began to depart the roadway to the left. The 2010 Toyota Tundra took evasive action to the right. The Dodge Ram struck the Toyota Tundra on the passenger side.
Green was tranported by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital (Tulsa) in serious condition. Her passengers ages 9 years of age, and 18 months of age were both transported to St. Francis Hospital. The 9 year old was treated and later released. Ford was transported by ambulance to St. John’s (Tulsa) in serious condition. Passengers Kevin Ford (52) was transported by EagleMed to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, in critical condition and the minor children ages 3 and 6 years of age were taken by private vehicle to Hillcrest Hospitial Cushing.
According to OHP reports the accident may have been caused by inattention/distraction inside the vehicle.
