(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A collision occurred at 7:07 (am) on October 8th (2015) on US177 at Boomer which is 1.2 miles South of Stillwater, OK.
Megan Nichole Larue (22), of Chelsea, was driving a 2012 Dodge pickup truck northbound on US177 when she failed to yield to Jeremy Keith Knox (18), of Carney, who was southbound on US177 driving a 2013 Harley Davidson. The Harley collided with the Dodge pickup truck.
Knox was transported by Medi-Flight to O.U. Medical Center (OKC) where he was admitted in critical condition with arm, leg, trunk internal, trunk external and head injuries. Larue was not injured.
The DPS report shows the cause of the accident to be an improper turn in front of oncoming traffic.
