(Stillwater, Okla.) According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a traffic accident happened at 3:19 (pm) Friday afternoon on Lakeview about 2/10 of a mile East of Cottonwood (8/10 of a mile West of Stillwater) in Payne County.
Jeffery Dyess (40) of Perry was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup westbound on Lakeview according to OHP reports when it departed the roadway to the left striking a bridge abutment. The Chevy Silverado Pickup rolled and unknown number of times running through a fence and coming to rest on its wheels.
Dyess was airlifted by EagleMed to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in stable condition with multiple injuries.
Seat-belts were in use and airbags were equipped and did deploy. Dyess was freed by Stillwater Fire using the Jaws of Life.
