(Cushing, Okla.) Friday evening about 10:45 (pm) OHP reported that an accident had occurred out on SH 48 and Benight Road (2.5 miles south and 2 miles west of Westport) in Pawnee County.
Shannon Hendrickson (33) of Terlton was driving a 1997 Honda CRV eastbound on Benight Road when she attempted to make a left turn pulling into the path of Jacquita Sunday (27) of Sapulpa.Sunday was driving a 1998 Chevy Pickup and was heading southbound on SH 48. Sunday’s Chevy Pickup struck Hendrickson’s CRV on the front driver’s side.
Hendrickson was transported by Mercy EMS to St. Johns (Tulsa) where she was admitted in stable condition with leg, trunk internal and trunk external. Sunday was transported by Mannford EMS to St. Johns (Tulsa) where she was treated and released with trunk internal and external injuries.
Judy Leforce (46) Oilton a passenger in Sunday’s vehicle was transported by Mercy EMS to St. Johns (Tulsa) where she was admitted in stable condition with leg, arm, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.
Mannford Fire Department extricated all victims.
Seat-belts were in use.
