(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A collision occurred on Wednesday, November 18th (2015) at approximately 6:08 (pm) on State Highway Thirty-three (SH33) approximately 8 miles east of Drumright, in Creek County.
Shannon Hanks (41) of Jennings, was driving a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country Van westbound on SH33 and when she made a left turn in front of Melissa Thornton (41) of Bixby, who was driving a 2014 Ford Mustang . The Mustang at the time of the collision was headed eastbound on SH33.
Hanks refused treatment at the scene. Thornton was transported by Creek County EMS to Hillcrest Medical Center (Tulsa) where she was reported to be in stable condition with multiple injuries.
