(Cushing) The Cushing Chamber of Commerce & Industry, along with the Cushing Industrial Authority, Oklahoma Manufacturer’s Alliance and the OSU Center for Innovation and Economic Development, Inc. will be hosting an Aging Systems Sustainment and Enabling Technologies (ASSET) informational session on Wednesday, March 10 from 9:00 am to Noon or from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Board Room of the Cushing Chamber of Commerce located at 1301 E. Main in Cushing.  Small groups, or individual discussion session are planned to begin each half hour. Topics may include:

*General Government Contracting,

*Minimum registration requirements,

*Potential opportunities with Tinker AFB,

*Defining the ASSET program,

*Utilizing the ASSET web site, and

*General sources of help.               

    The overview will include information that may aid manufacturers in becoming involved with opportunities listed on government websites and through the ASSET program.

    All manufacturers are invited from within the Cushing, Drumright, Pawnee, Chandler and Stroud region.  If anyone has questions regarding the ASSET program prior to March 10, please contact Ralph Voss at 405.744.3582.
