Harrison School was treated to a visit by the world renowned “Cat in the Hat” on Monday as Read Across America week was kicked off by KUSH and the KUSH Girls.
Read Across America began 12 years ago as a way to motivate children to read. Each year the week begins on or around the birthday of Dr. Seuss.
Monday, March 2 would have been the 105th birthday of Theodor Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss.
