(Stillwater, Okla.) – A 35-year-old homeless man was charged today with kicking a wall and causing $2,500 damage at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing on Monday.
Shawn Paul Cortez remains in the Payne County Jail pending his arraignment on the felony charge Thursday, court records show.
If convicted of malicious injury to property, Cortez could be given as much as a two-year prison term and a $1,000 fine.
