Multiple area fire departments responded to a large fire East of Cushing this afternoon.
The call went out just after 1 this afternoon according to the Cushing Fire Department.
The fire started near the intersection of State Highway 33 and Norfolk Road. From there, the fire burned east and prompted the closures of Euchee and Grandstaff roads.
According to Lt. Willman of the Cushing Fire Department, a total of 10 departments responded including Cushing, Ripley and Stillwater.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
According to the Cushing Fire Department, the fire is under control at this time.
