Gladys V. Williams, Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday evening, November 8, 2014 in Hillcrest Hospital of Cushing at the age of 95 years.

The daughter of the late David Lamb and Cloe Scott Lamb, Gladys was born on November 12, 1918 in Whiteville, Arkansas.

Gladys was united in marriage to Leslie H. Williams on May 6, 1952 in Childress, Texas. Leslie preceded her in death on January 3, 1988.

Gladys was a member of the Enville Community Church. She enjoyed canning, sewing, working in the garden, going to church and watching over her chickens and sheep.

Survivors include children, Darrell Taylor and his wife Bobbi of Drumright and Jack Williams and his wife, Tammy, of Cushing; twenty-four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Gladys was preceded in death by four children, Myrtle Simon, Ima Reddout, John Taylor and David Taylor.

Graveside services will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma with Brother Mike Murray officiating.
