Geraldine Louise “Gerry” Miller, age 56 of Yale, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday at First Baptist Church in Yale. Brother Mich Dershem will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Oklahoma.
Geraldine was born on March 23, 1953 in Morgan, Colorado to the late Robert Lewis and Mary Ann (Jacobs) Savory. She lived in Yale for many years, owning Main Street Diner for a couple of years. Gerry was a C.N.A. working for the Yale Nursing Home and home health care for a number of years. She liked taking care of others. Gerry was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and fishing. Gerry loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Gerry is survived by her sons Bill Jackson and wife Shatana Bentley of Yale, Bobby Miller and wife Erma of Yale, Danny Miller and wife Patti of Yale, brothers Kenny Martin and wife Lori of Yale, Terry Martin and wife Denise of Pawnee, Marty Martin of Tulsa, Bill Savory of Yale, sisters Joyce Dilley of Yale, Glenda Endicott of Yale, Joey Minyard of Yale, grandchildren Kaden, Cheyenne, David, Bradley, Krissy, Cadaence, Elora and Madelyn, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nephews and Nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren Bryar and Brittany.
