Fox will discuss his business-centered approach to the development of Mexico and related opportunities on Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at the Mabee Center in Tulsa. The Williams S. Spears School of Business at OSU is featuring Fox as its headline speaker for the 2007-2008 Tulsa Business Forums. Fox’s presentation is titled “Bringing the New Economy to Latin America.” He will also address opportunities for international corporations in the region and the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Prior to his election as President of Mexico, Fox worked for Coca-Cola for 31 years. As head of the company, he helped increase sales by almost 50 percent. Fox was elected Governor of Guanajuato in 1995, which launched a political career that culminated with six years as president (2000-2006). Fox’s presidential administration is credited with the creation of an estimated 1 million new jobs for Mexico. A critic of the populist movements sweeping Central and South America, Fox is offering an interesting alternative that he hopes to share with everyone concerned about the future of the hemisphere.

Marcus Buckingham, the final speaker for this year’s Executive Management Briefings, is the author of three international best sellers including his latest “Go Put Your Strengths to Work.” He’ll use a seminar format to present that same topic on Tuesday, March 25 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
