(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Cushing woman was charged today with sexual battery of an inmate in the Cimarron Correctional Facility while she was employed as a nurse at the private prison in January.
Kristi Anne Tate, 44, was mailed a letter today notifying her of the felony charge on which she was advised to appear in court on Aug. 5 or a warrant would be issued for her arrest.
If convicted of the felony charge investigated by the state Department of Corrections, Tate could be sentenced to 10 years in prison, court records show.
