(Stillwater, Okla.) — A former Cushing man, who was arrested Friday on a charge of stealing a woman’s car three months ago, remains in the Payne County Jail on $5,000 bail pending his arraignment this afternoon, court records show.

Justin Layne Rollins, 26, who previously lived in a Cushing trailer park, listed a Tryon address when he was charged last month with possessing stolen property in Lincoln County, court records show.

The day before his arrest on his Payne County charge, Rollins pleaded guilty to his Lincoln County charge, for which he was placed on two years’ probation with an order to pay $50 to the victims’ compensation fund, perform 40 hours of community service, have a substance abuse evaluation, and do any recommended follow-up treatment.

If convicted of his Payne County charge, Rollins could be imprisoned for three to 20 years and fined up to three times the value of the car, court records show.
