(Cushing) –  Cushing Police Chief Terry Brannon announced Monday that Sgt. Tully Folden is being promoted to Deputy Chief of the Cushing Police Department.   The announcement came during a meeting of the Police Dept. and other City officials at Cushing City Hall.

Cushing has not had a Deputy Chief since Terry Brannon was promoted to Chief two years ago.

Brannon explained that the process that resulted in Foldens selection was exhaustive,  and initially included consideration of candidates from outside the department.

Folden has been with the Cushing Police Department since 1998,  and was promoted to Sergeant in 2002.

Folden and his wife Deena have two daughters.
