The festivities are just around the corner. The 20th Festival in the Park will be held Oct. 11 in Cushing Memorial Park. But first, local entertainers will be showcased in Cushing’s version of American Idol.
The second annual Entertainment Showcase will begin rehearsals today (Monday, Sept. 29) at 3:30 p.m. in Centennial Park in downtown Cushing. According to Cushing Chamber director Holly Tichenor, approximately 20 entries have been registered for the talent competition. The Entertainment Showcase will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 at the amphitheater located in Cushing Memorial Park. The winner will perform during the Festival in the Park on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Come join in on the fun – as well as showing your support – as local talents vie for the top prize at this year’s Entertainment Showcase.
