The Lachenmeyer Arts Center is pleased to announce this year’s roster of Festival in the Park artists.  Three new artists are showing in Cushing for the first time.  **Annalisa Cahill Campbell from Piedmont will be showing her mixed media work.  Annalisa spent her early childhood years living in Cushing.  Several Oklahoma City galleries represent her work and she is the current president of the Oklahoma Art Guild.   Lonnie Minton from Fletcher, Ok will be showing his photographs while his wife Shirley will be exhibiting watercolors and oil paintings.

       Jewelers displaying their work this year will be Rebecca Bristow of Wyandotte, Shirley Foxworthy of Ponca City, MJ Henderson Smith from Cushing and Jacquelyn Wycoff of Garber. 

     The potters displaying their work are well known to Cushing.  Ray Chehrehgosha of Stillwater is returning for the 21st time.  He is the only artist to have shown in every Festival in the Park.  Yusuf Etudaiye from McAlester is back again with his unique pottery.

     Painters using acrylics are Linda Hiller of Oklahoma City, Rory Morgan of Edmond,  Edward Spears of Shawnee and Liz Wilson of Cushing.

     Oil painters included in this year’s show are Linda Hiller, Oklahoma City, Earnestine Hodo of Cushing, Linda Carter Holman of Oregon House, California, Sheila Minnich of Midwest City and Liz Wilson of Cushing.

     Pastel artists this year include Linda Hiller, OKC, Sheila Minnich of Midwest City and Liz Wilson of Cushing.

   Don Karner of Broken Arrow will be showing his photographs again.  Jim Scorse will be back with his welded metal sculpture.  Rob Smith, director of the Lachenmeyer Arts Center will be showing screenprints and watercolors.   Rob’s screenprint “Potato Man’s Scream” was used as the 2009 Festival poster.

     The juror for the 21st annual Festival in the Park is Cushing artist Betty Bowen.
