(Cushing) – You’ll probably see him around town, perhaps at church or dining out, but you won’t see him working as Cushing’s Economic Development Director. Bob Felts is retiring, technically June 30th, but one city commissioner was heard reminding Felts he had one more monthly report to give the Cushing City Commission.
Felts was honored for his service to Cushing over the past nine years with a reception at Cushing City Hall.
Interim City Manager Steve Spears presented Felts with a Mayoral proclamation issued by Mayor John Henckel that honored Felts for his service. Felts thanked all those in attendance, and noted that getting things done for the city is a team effort, and he thanked the many departments he worked with over the years.
Those in attendance thanked Felts for his service and congratulated him upon his retirement.
