(Cushing, Okla) — The *unofficial election results are in and voters in Payne County said “yes” to renewing the 3/8 cent tax earmarked for Road and Bridge Improvements, General Fund, Payne County Expo and Board, Payne County Extension and Fire Departments. Propositions 1 & 2 for Olive Public Schools both passed with approximately 70% of voters giving a thumbs up to school bonds for school building improvements, transportation, textbooks and computers, etc. For more information click here: Olive Public Schools
Propositions 1 & 2 for Stillwater Public Schools also passed with an average of 79% of voters saying yes to investing in future Stillwater Pioneers, including a new high school, academic tech and texts, maintenance, transportation, athletic facilities and more. Voters in the Coyle Public Schools District No 014 also approved a bond to build a new elementary building, a multi-purpose building and additional transportation with over 55% of the vote.

Bristow elected a new Mayor yesterday with Kristine Wyatt receiving 59% of the vote.
