(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A personal injury collision occurred on Sunday, May 31st (2015) at 5:07 (pm) on State Highway 33 at the intersection of SH33 and SH48 in Creek County.
Christopher Riley (28) of Duncan was driving a 2012 Ford truck southbound on SH48 when Jacob Bottger (27) of Agra was going eastbound on SH33 on his 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Bottger stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of SH33 and SH48 and then proceeded through the intersection encountering Riley who had failed to stop. Riley then struck Bottger as he proceeded through the intersection.
Neither Christopher Riley nor his passenger Andrew Riley (35) of Wapanucka was injured. Bottger who was reported to be in critical condition was transported by Creek county EMS to a Tulsa area hospital where he was admitted and later passed away.
DPS reports show the cause of the collision to be failure to stop at a stop sign.
