(Cushing, Okla.) The Oklahoma Highway patrol reports that a fatality accident occurred late this morning at 11:32 (am). The accident involved two vehicles one driven by Rhonda Schroeder (42) and the other by Spencer Rogers (22) both drivers are (were) from Stillwater.

Schroeder was heading northbound on Fairgrounds Road at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her 2012 Toyota Camry crossing left of center striking Rogers 2000 Ford Truck head on.

Schroeder was pinned for about two hours before being freed by Stillwater Fire department and expired on the scene due to massive injuries. She was transported to Strode Funeral Home (Stillwater). Rogers was taken by LifeNet to Stillwater Medical Center where he received treatment and was released.

OHP reports show that speed by the 2012 Toyota Camry was the cause.

Both vehicles had seat-belts in use, and air bags deployed.
