(Cushing, Okla.) According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an accident happened last night on Brush Creek Road about 0.4 of a mile south of Glencoe, and approximately 0.06 mile northeast of Stillwater in Payne County at 8:13 (pm).

Dakota Bennett (18) of Glencoe was southbound on Brush Creek Road driving a 1998 Ford F-150 when he came upon a 2006 Honda Pilot that was being driven by Christopher Kukuk (36) of Glencoe; the Honda Pilot was parked facing northbound in the middle of the roadway.

Bennett, the driver of the Ford F-150, struck Kukuk , the driver of the Honda Pilot, as well as a pedestrian Cassie Renae Hock (25) of Stillwater while attempting to pass Kukuk’s Honda Pilot on the roadway.

Bennett was not injured nor were his juvenile passengers ages 7 and 10. Kukuk was transported by MediFlight to Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in critical condition with whole body injuries.  Hock expired at the scene due to massive injuries.

According to OHP reports the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
