(Stillwater, Okla.) — A former employee of Atwood’s store in Cushing was charged today with embezzling $1,399 worth of merchandise while he was working there in September.
Terry Wayne Bower, 56, allegedly took a Doodlebug mini-motorcycle, two Poulan chainsaws, two Troybilt weedeaters, one Huskavarna chainsaw and one Huskavarna weedeater from Atwood’s on Sept. 28.
If convicted of embezzlement, Bower, who lives in Cleveland, Okla., could be given a five-year prison term, a $5,000 fine and an order to pay restitution, court records show.
