(Stillwater, Okla.) — An ex-convict from Cushing has been charged with breaking into a Cushing woman’s home while she was present, as well as possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, all on Sunday.

    David Lynn Fleming, 50, who has an extensive criminal history all in Payne County, was arraigned Monday by Special District Judge Katherine Thomas, who set his bail at $50,000. He remains in the Payne County Jail.

    He was convicted in 1990 of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and illegal drug distribution for which he was initially given probation that was later revoked to two and one-half years in prison, state Department of Corrections records show.

    He was convicted in 1992 of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute for which he was given a two and one-half year prison term, DOC records show.

    He was also convicted in 1992 of second-degree burglary for which he was given a two and one-half year prison term, DOC records show.

    He was convicted in 1996 of marijuana possession for which he was given a five-year prison term, but he was released about two years later, DOC records show.

    He was convicted in 2002 of drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of firearms after a felony conviction for which he was given a 12-year prison term, but he was released in 2006, DOC records show.
