Earl Thomas White went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2014 at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 90. He was born on February 9, 1924 in a log house in the Council Valley area of rural Payne County, Oklahoma, north of Cushing to Walter Guy and Johnsie (Coates) White. He helped his dad on the farm for several years.

On September 13, 1946 he married Imogene Sadler. To this union was born three sons, Larry Earl, Don Ray and Dwayne Thomas. The marriage ended in divorce.

As a young man he worked for Meadow Gold as a milk delivery man in Cushing, Stillwater, Ponca City, Fairview and Enid for several years. He left Meadow Gold and started his own successful fencing business, living in Enid. He was very active in Emmanuel Baptist Church, teaching the teen boy’s class.

On September 3, 1988 he married Delores Joan Kirk in a friend’s home in Ringwood, Oklahoma.

He was very active at the Garland Road Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church, teaching the men’s Sunday School class. He did a devotional service at Greenbrier Nursing Home weekly for over 25 years. He did a ministry at Garfield County Jail for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Delores, of the home in Enid; two son and their wives, Larry and Lynne White of Yale and Don and Cathy White of Shattuck; three grandsons, Dwayne and his wife, Kim of Pawnee, Chris and his wife Kathy of Yale and Larry Dana White of Yale; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte Magdeburg of Cushing and Betty and her husband Wayne Sullins of Savalla, Texas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by one son, Dwayne and one brother.
