(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A collision occurred at 8:55 (p.m.) on March 31, 2015 at SH16 and 433 West Ave in Creek County
Glenda Alexander (52) of Drumright (Oklahoma) was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer which was eastbound on Highway 16 when it departed the roadway to the left, then departed the roadway to the right and entered back onto the roadway prior to striking a tree. Alexander was ejected from the vehicle.
Alexander expired at the scene from the injuries she received in the accident.
Reports state that seat-belts were not in use, however airbags were equipped in the Blazer and had deployed.
