(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is based on a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
A personal injury collision occurred on August 13th (2016), at 4:46 pm, on State Highway 16, north of West 162st South, which is approximately 5/10 of a mile south of Drumright, in Creek County.
Phyllis Hutchinson (68) of Drumright was driving a 2003 Chevy Avalanche headed southbound on State Highway 16, when she fell asleep, and departed the roadway to the left and striking a creek bed.
Hutchinson was transported to the Cushing Hospital by Creek County EMS, and then taken by Life Flight to St Francis Hospital (Tulsa), where she was admitted in stable condition.
Seat-belts were not in use according to the DPS report.
