Donald Wayne Barnes, a longtime Oilton resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 75. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m.,
Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Oilton. Rev. Larry Calvert will officiate.

Donald was born on February 2, 1939 in Olney, Illinois to the late Samuel and Oleta (Casey) Barnes. He grew up in Oilton, graduating from Oilton High School in 1957. Donald married the love of his life Deanna Alsip on October 29, 1959 in Drumright, to this union Rusty and Robbie were born. They were members of the First Baptist Church. He worked as a pumper for A.K.L. Donald has a passion for Stock Car Racing, football and watching westerns. He took pride in taking care of his wife. Donald loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his wife Deanna of the home, sons Rusty Barnes and Robbie Barnes both of Oilton, grandchildren Austin, Spencer, Blake and Hannah, great grandson Brayton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
