The following candidates filed their official declaration of candidacy with the Payne County Election Board as of close Monday, December 7th. The filing period will end on Wednesday, December 9th. Candidates have until 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 11th to withdrawal, or contest another candidate for office.
The Annual School Election is scheduled for February 9, 2010. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the total votes cast in this election, the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will meet in a run-off election on Tuesday, April 6, 2010.
