RELAY FOR LIFE OF CUSHING/DRUMRIGHT
YOU’RE INVITED!
JUNE 7th 6:00 PM Cushing High School O’Dell Field
On behalf of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Committee, I want to invite you to the Relay For Life CELEBRATION of Cushing~Drumright! The entire community is invited,so plan on coming! It begins at 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 7th and continues until 6:00 AMon Sunday, June 8th. Please join us for the Celebration at Cushing High School O’dell Field.
Opening, Luminaria and Fight Back ceremonies, basket auction, music, food, games, entertainment, inflatables and more! We are excited to announce Shawna Russell will be signing our National Anthem.
Our goal is four-fold:
· To raise awareness of cancer
· To raise money for the fight against cancer
· To honor cancer survivors
· And to remember those we have lost to this disease
We also recognize Cancer Survivors at the event with the opening ceremony and with our Luminaria Ceremony. Luminaria are lighted bags in honor or memory of someone that has had cancer. They are $5.00 and will light up the track at 10:00 pm. Our Survivors will be regonized at 6:00 pm and our Luminaria Ceremony will begin at 10:00 pm.
The Survivor registration and reception starts at 5:00 pm for Survivors and their families. We will have other food items at the team tents for the community as part of our fundraising efforts.
