(Stillwater, Okla.) – A Cushing woman was arraigned this afternoon on a charge of drug possession with intent to distribute on Wednesday, in a case investigated by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, court records show.
    Kathy Anne Hale, 65, was ordered held in the Payne County Jail on $100,000 bail pending a Sept. 6 court appearance, a sheriff’s spokesman told KUSH.
    Hale, who has also been known by the surname of Vassar, had been released from prison four and one-half years ago after serving sentences for drug deliveries in Cushing in 2001, 2007 and 2008, state Department of Corrections records show.
    According to DOC records, Hale was previously convicted in Payne County of:
    * drug delivery in Cushing in 2001, for which she was given probation in 2003 that was revoked in 2009 to five years in prison;
    * uttering forged instruments in 2001, for which she was given probation in 2003 that was revoked in 2009 to a concurrent five years in prison;
    * drug delivery in Cushing in 2007, for which she was given a 10-year prison term in 2009 and served about five years;
    * drug delivery in Cushing in 2008, for which she was given a 15-year prison term in 2009 and served about five years.
    Hale had previously been placed on five years’ probation in 2001 for drug possession in Texas, DOC records show.
