(Stillwater) — Three Cushing residents were arraigned Monday on charges of possessing substances with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine at Highway 33 and Euchee Valley Road on March 12 in a case investigated by the Payne County Sheriff’s Office.
Kevin Wayne Ledgerwood, 36, an ex-convict with a history of drug offenses; Dustin Woodrow Molloy, 28, who has a criminal record in Lincoln and Payne Counties; and Andi Bass, 22, who failed to appear for sentencing last month in another methamphetamine case, were all ordered jailed on $20,000 bond each, court records show.
In their latest case, which was filed Monday, Ledgerwood, Molloy and Bass are also accused of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia described as three syringes, straw, spoon and 25 zip-lock baggies, all on March 12 in Payne County.
If convicted of their three-count charges, the Cushing trio could each be given life prison terms plus 11 years and at least a $50,000 fine, according to court documents filed by Payne County First Assistant District Attorney Tom Lee.
According to state Department of Corrections records, Ledgerwood got out of prison nearly four years ago after serving about 15 months of a three-year sentence from Creek County for possessing methamphetamine and a firearm in 2005 after a conviction.
Ledgerwood also has a 2005 conviction for carrying a firearm in Oklahoma County on which he was paroled after serving three months, DOC records show. Ledgerwood also has a 1996 conviction for marijuana delivery in Lincoln County for which he served about a year.
Ledgerwood also has a domestic abuse conviction from Payne County for which he was given a six-month sentence in 2006, court records show.
Molloy has a 2004 conviction for second-degree burglary in Lincoln County for which he was given two years of probation, DOC records show.
Molloy also originally received a deferred sentence in Payne County in 2001 for possession of a stolen credit card, which was changed in 2004 to a three-year suspended sentence except 45 days in jail, court records show.
Bass pleaded guilty last August to possession of methamphetamine in Payne County and was allowed to remain free pending her sentencing on Feb. 5, court records show.
When she failed to appear in court before District Judge Donald Worthington for her sentencing, a bench warrant was issued for her arrest, which was served on March 12, court records show.
