(Cushing, Okla.) The Cushing Tigers soundly defeated the Cleveland Tigers Friday night by a score of 35 – 7. Cushing took an early lead and kept Cleveland out of the end zone until the 4th quarter with just a little over a minute to play. The Drumright Tornadoes allowed Caney Valley’s only score in the game during the 3rd quarter and went on to defeat the Trojans 49 – 6.
Conference play will begin for both teams this Friday, September 26, 2014 as the Cushing Tigers will travel about 15 miles west to take on the Perkins-Tryon Demons at 7:00 p.m. The Drumright Tornadoes will be at home this week to take on the Hominy Bucks. Kickoff for that game will be at 7:30 p.m.
