(Cushing, Okla) — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! After several years on hiatus, the Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation is excited to announce the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon is back! Since its inception, the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon has played a key role in raising funds to support breast care for community members who cannot afford treatment. The Foundation has also provided gift cards to recipients to assist with travel expenses related to cancer treatment appointments.
This year the luncheon will be held on October 21, 11:30 am at the First Baptist Church in Cushing. Tickets are available for purchase now for $25 by contacting a member of the CRH Foundation (Lee Roy Kalka, Matt Turner, Latina Simmons, Pam Hawthorn, Amy Baxter, Ashley Joiner or Ashley Baker) or by stopping by Kalka Insurance Agency, 823 E. Main, Cushing.
As in years past, community support – through contributions of gift cards, monetary donations or gift baskets for the silent auction – is not only appreciated, but assists greatly in the fundraising efforts of the Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation. Those wishing to donate gift cards, monetary gifts and/or gift baskets to the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon/Silent Auction can drop them by Kalka Insurance Agency. Gift baskets for the silent auction are due by October 10th.
If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to contact Lee Roy Kalka at 918-223-5016.
**Tune into HOME on KUSH 1600 Monday, October 6th @ 9 am to learn more about this event from CRH Foundation members Ashley Baker and Pam Hawthorn.**
The Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation is a 501c3 organization. Donations are 100% eligible as a deduction on your income taxes.
