(Cushing, Okla.) Cushing Deputy Police Chief Tully Folden was the featured speaker for Mr. Bob Coates American Government class at Cushing High School Wednesday. The class was studying a unit on “Crime in America”.
Before connecting with the students, the class submitted questions to police. Among some of those answered were: What do you do if you are stopped by an unmarked police car? Has there ever been a law that police had to enforce that you thought was unfair but had to anyone? What is the highest reported crime in Cushing?
“Because I am a product of Cushing Public Schools, it is always fun to go back and talk to the students,” Deputy Chief Folden said. “Whether it is at Deep Rock or the high school, I always welcome the chance to give something back and share time with the next generation,” he said.
