(Cushing, Okla.) Tuesday afternoon, Cushing police got a break in the numerous car burglaries that were reported throughout the day. Police have recovered several pieces of property that were alleged to have been taken out the some of the cars burglarized. Some of the recovered property has been linked to victims who reported their car being burglarized.
“Some of the recovered property cannot be linked to anyone, which suggests some may not have reported the crime or is unaware they have been a victim,” said Detective Adam Harp. “Yesterday, we stressed the importance of reporting whether or not you had been a victim of one of the many car burglaries and that remains today,” he said. “It is important to us that we return any of the property we have recovered to the rightful owner.”
If you have been a victim and have not reported it to police, please do it. You can report your crime by calling 918-225-1212.
