Police are investigating an overnight “smash and grab” at Bill’s E-Z Out #2, located 1400 E. 9th Street.
On August 25, 2009, just after 12:30 a.m., Cushing police responded to Bill’s E-Z Out #2, 1400 E. 9th Street, after receiving a burglar alarm. Cushing police officers Sgt. Mark Jobe and Officer Randy Evans were sent to the store, and upon arrival, found the glass in one of the front doors smashed. Officers checked the store and determined that the burglar had fled the scene before their arrival.
After a review the store surveillance system the suspected burglar is described as follows:
White Male
Very short hair
Wearing dark colored clothing and a red bandana around his face
The suspect was shown entering the store and then fleeing the store, running east.
Police currently do not have any leads, but have been working this morning to get the store video enhanced for release to the public. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police department at (918) 225-1212.
