Cushing police are investigating an overnight burglary at a downtown business. Citizen help is being sought.

This morning, October 29, 2009, Cushing police began investigating a downtown business burglary at Brown’s Sunl & ATV, which is located 121 E. Cherry Street. At this time, no suspect has been developed.

Cushing police Sgt. Jack Ford reported that sometime after 5:00 p.m. yesterday, and 10:15 a.m. this morning, someone entered the popular downtown business and stole an undetermined amount of money. It is still not known if anything else had been taken during the burglary.

Chief Terry Brannon said, “While we do not have any leads at this moment, I am always confident that citizens in the area or those driving by may have saw something and will share that information with police. Some evidence was recovered from the crime scene and is being processed here at the police department this afternoon.”
