(Cushing, Okla.) – Cushing police officers Carson Watts and Deputy Chief Tully Folden were guests at the Cushing Board of Realtors meeting held recently at the Steer Family Restaurant. The officers were the guest of local realtor Tommye Waltman of Tommye Waltman and Associates.
The local realty group was given a presentation about methamphetamine lab discoveries, focusing on the “One Pot” method of cooking methamphetamine. The group also learned how to make the best use of public information websites to help screen rental or lease applicants.
“It is our hope that having the opportunity to share time with the board of realtors helps make their job much easier,” Deputy Chief Tully Folden said. “Having nice properties to show potential residents impacts our local economy, and in the end, impacts us all.” “I hope the board of realtors was able to take away something from our connection that allows them to serve our community and their clients better,” Folden said.
