The Cushing Police Department and Spirit Bank have teamed to together to host “Responsible Beverage Service and Sales” training Thursday, February 22, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., in the community room at Spirit Bank. The training, which is free, is being offered in partnership with the Oklahoma Able Commission, Oklahoma Prevention Policy Alliance, and PaNOK of Stillwater.
“Our goal is to ensure the clerks, servers, bartenders, and managers in our community are equipped with the knowledge to sell and serve alcoholic beverages safely, responsibly, and legally,” Chief Terry Brannon said. “When we have conducted compliance checks, Cushing merchants have been very responsible, which means owners and managers are doing a great job educating their employees,” he said.
Anyone with questions about the training can contact Chief Brannon at the police department by calling 918-225-1212. You can also reach him at [email protected].
