(Cushing, Okla.) This morning, Cushing police have investigated four overnight auto burglaries. Auto burglaries have been reported in the southeast portion of the city, which is the area south of Broadway Street and east of Little Avenue. Electronics, clothing and money have been reported stolen to police.
What can you do to help lessen your chance of being a crime victim?
-Lock your vehicle
-Make sure your windows are rolled up
-Try to park in areas that are well lit
-Park in an enclosed garage if you have one
-Remove valuables such as iPods, cellular telephones, purses, money, etc., from the vehicle
“We have not developed any suspects and a canvass of the immediate area has yielded few leads,” said Deputy Chief Tully Folden. “Anyone with information is encouraged to contact us so we can get these recent crimes solved,” he said.
