A catalytic converter system, new exhaust stacks and monitoring system are being installed at Cushing Municipal Light & Power by Farabee Mechanical, Inc. to each of the 11 engines at the Cushing Electric Power Plant. The upgrades are being made to meet new Environmental Standards. The cost of these improvements is $1,398,620.00 which is funded from existing funds that have been allocated for this project. The project is scheduled to be completed before April 15, 2014.
