(Stillwater) — A Cushing man was charged Tuesday with embezzling a rented two-dolly trailer from a Cushing business last year and failing to return it.

    Jason Alan Hill, 33, could be given as much as a five-year prison term and a $5,000 fine if convicted of embezzlement of rented property, court records show.

    Hill is alleged to have rented a two-dolly trailer from B & G Storage and Store in Cushing on April 25, 2009, with the understanding that the trailer would be returned the next day, but instead converted it to his own use.

    In another felony case, which has been pending for more than four years, Hill, who was then living in Stillwater, is alleged to have possessed marijuana and driven with a suspended license on May 28, 2005, in Stillwater, court records show.

    Hill was convicted on Jan. 27, 2005, of marijuana possession in Lapeer County, Michigan, for which he was sentenced to six months and seven days, court records show.

    If convicted of felony marijuana possession in Payne County, Hill could be given as much as a 10-year prison term and a $10,000 fine. He could be given an additional one year in jail and a $500 fine if convicted of driving under suspension.
