(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 40-year-old Cushing man was charged today with second-degree burglary after a prior felony conviction and also drug possession in Cushing on Sunday.
William Cecil Wilson remains in the Payne County Jail on $7,500 bail pending his arraignment this afternoon on the two-count charge.
According to court records, a William Cecil Wilson Jr. with the same birth month and birth year was charged three years ago with making a false declaration of ownership of a water pump on Jan 25, 2017, to Mike’s Cash ‘n Pawn in Cushing.
Wilson Jr. pleaded guilty to that felony charge in May of 2017, when he was given a 60-day jail term followed by two years and 10 months of probation.
However, two years later, Wilson Jr. was found in violation of his probation and given a 45-day jail term, court records show.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, in addition to that pawn conviction, Wilson had been paroled from Colorado in 2002 on a grand larceny conviction.
