(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Cushing man was given a five-year prison term Friday for violating the probation he was given in 2017 for possessing methamphetamine in Cushing — by possessing the same drug in 2018 twice, first in Perkins and then in Stillwater.
Timothy Alan Gibby, 37, was told by District Judge Phillip Corley in court Friday that on his successful completion of the Bill Johnson Drug Offender Work Camp program in prison, the balance of his sentence would be suspended.
In 2016, Gibby had been charged with possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in Cushing on Feb. 24, court records show. In May of 2017, Gibby was placed on five years’ probation.
