(Stillwater, Okla) — A Cushing man who was arrested on methamphetamine-related charges three months ago by a sheriff’s deputy was charged with possessing methamphetamine again last week in a case investigated by Cushing police.

Dustin Woodrow Molloy, 28, who remains jailed on $20,000 bond, was arraigned Friday and ordered to return to court Wednesday with an attorney.

Molloy has 2004 convictions for second-degree burglary in Lincoln County and for possession of a stolen credit card in Payne County, court records show. If convicted of his latest charges of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on June 3 in Cushing, Molloy could be given as much as 11 years’ incarceration and $6,000 in fines, court records show.

Three months ago, Molloy was arrested with ex-convict Kevin Wayne Ledgerwood, 36, of Cushing, and Andi Bass, 22, of Cushing, on charges of possessing substances with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine at Highway 33 and Euchee Valley Road on March 12, as well as possessing meth and drug paraphernalia.

Molloy was subsequently freed on $20,000 bail in that case investigated by Payne County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Myers and ordered to return to court on July 12 when he can ask for a preliminary hearing on his felony charges, which carry as much as a life prison term plus 11 years on conviction.

His co-defendant, Ledgerwood, an ex-convict with a history of drug offenses, accepted a plea bargain on the three-count charge May 28 and was freed on a personal recognizance bond pending his Aug. 27 sentencing. His other co-defendant, Bass, accepted a plea bargain on May 21 in which a count of possessing substances with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine was dropped when she pleaded guilty to the other two counts of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was placed on probation for seven years, fined $500 and ordered to pay $150 for a state crime bureau laboratory fee. ***
